Learning and Teaching

All about simplicity!

Dynamic, engaging, and interactive training.

Thank you very much also for the session yesterday. It was what I think, in my humble opinion, good inset should be: a chance to challenge our current thinking a little, whilst building on our existing knowledge and skills; plenty of practical activities; and a chance to poke fun at one another and have a bit of fun. Staff invariably arrive to inset sessions a bit tense and full of panic about how they could be using the time to do various other jobs don't they? But it was lovely to see that after three hours together their body language had completely changed and they had relaxed, which was very good for their mental well-being in the intense target-driven culture which education has necessarily become. So thank you.

Zoe Anderson - Assistant Headteacher, Kesteven and Grantham School

Kate Parker-Randall, Headteacher, Bridlington School

Mark delivered exactly what we asked for: a range of extremely usable differentiation strategies for both more able and for pupils with SEND students. The session was interactive, and, staff from NQTs to experienced teachers, all gained a fresh insight into how to engage students whilst maximising challenge and progress. We were provided with a whole range of practical strategies that we will be able to cherry pick from. The hands on approach meant that all staff were fully engaged throughout.

Amanda Ilhan, Deputy Headteacher, The British International School, Istanbul:

Mark was just what we needed. He embedded theory of how we can improve from good to great teachers, using really practical, new ideas for the teachers to try out in their classrooms. He was a pleasure to work with.
