Thanks so much for everything today. Your work was wonderful.
We are all big fans down here.
Frank Gilgan, Deputy Headteacher, Redden Court Academy, Romford
The Inset that Mark delivered was relevant, engaging and linked to current educational research. Teachers were faced with learning challenges, worked collaboratively and were motivated to achieve – exactly what we want for learners. Mark is highly, professional, approachable and uses his skills of communication and breadth of experience very effectively to respond to a range of questions. We were left wanting more!
Rachael Allen, Assistant Head Teacher, Penglais School, Aberystwyth
Thank you very much for the session yesterday. It was what I think, in my humble opinion, good inset should be: a chance to challenge our current thinking a little, whilst building on our existing knowledge and skills; plenty of practical activities; and a chance to poke fun at one another and have a bit of fun. Staff invariably arrive to inset sessions a bit tense and full of panic about how they could be using the time to do various other jobs don't they? But it was lovely to see that after three hours together their body language had completely changed and they had relaxed, which was very good for their mental well-being in the intense target-driven culture which education has necessarily become. So thank you.

Presented with style and humour - Great Stuff! So many courses (I've been on) suffer from lack of personality and heart - Not this one!'
Rob Flint, Lead Practitioner Art, Parker E-Act Academy, Daventry
I now feel more confident to move forward positively in my role.
Catherine Lewis, Gowerton School, Swansea.
It was refreshing to have a session focusing on teaching and learning rather than behavioural and emotional issues. The staff were really engaged.
Dawn Harris, Executive Headteacher, The Link Special School, Bath.
Mark produced and delivered county wide, whole school, training days for Buckinghamshire County Council. The evaluations were excellent and their input was successful in developing a positive attitude from departments attending.
